Character
A reluctant hero type, thoughtful and respectful, down to earth and kinda country.
Amma's overall usual demeanor is "retiring." She's a tired and quiet old lady, who prefers to watch other vargs enjoy activities rather tha get in on the action herself. Her joints are shot from overtaxing in zealous hunts in her youth, and the pain and stiffness they cause tend to prohibit her from athletics. Though she still takes herself on a hunt from time to time for the sheer joy of it, she is not as successful as she once was.
Often, Amma finds herself in the semi-reluctant role of mentor/parent/grandparent to other Felvargs. Most likely this is because she likes to help, is too small to be intimidating, and has a neutral-to-pleasant demeanor others find palatable. Amma is highly protective of the Felvargs she mentors, as well as her found family and any other Felvargs that ping her radar as 'immature' (whether physically, emotionally, or both), and will overcome all hurdles of joint and age to keep them safe when they are in danger.

Relationships (6)
- Roskva #3058 - Amma is afraid of Roskva and regularly checks over her shoulder in case the red-eyed female is about to leap out of the shadows and attack her. She doesn't know why Roskva targets her, but tries to avoid being caught outside the company of stronger vargs like Birla and Alfhildr that seem to serve as a deterrent.
- Birla #3235 - Birla is Amma's surrogate daughter figure and quite possibly the "love of her life" - Amma found her alone as a young pup and raised her as her own, although Birla never came to refer to her as "mother." Now that Birla is grown and independent, Amma visits her as frequently as possible (when the stars align and both are in Skalaness), and often requests her company as a travel companion when she feels unsafe, worries she would struggle without aid, or simply would like the company.
- Soleif #1310 - Amma's oldest friend. She and Sol have known each other since they were very young, and Amma absolutely lives to try every new tea Sol comes up with, especially any new tasty blends that might soothe her aches and pains. They've had a lot of laughs together in Sol's tea shop and on small treks.
- Alfhildr #136 - Technically, Alfhildr was Amma's first "mentee." At the point in Amma's life when they were travelling together, she was quite rigid about rules and the "right" behavior - the pendulum has swung from one extreme to the other and come back to the middle by now - which led her to not appreciating and encouraging Hildr's unique strengths and the two of them parting on uneasy terms. Amma worries their relationship is not reparable but still tries to reach out and help from afar when possible now that she has a more nuanced grasp on what would help Alfhildr to grow and self-actualize.
- Sóti #3589 - Amma knows Sóti solely as a weapon of Roskva. He has only ever come to attack and possibly capture(?) her, and sometimes Roskva is even on his heels. She has no idea if he has any personality of his own at all, or if he's just a hollow shell that Roskva fills with violence.
- Haukur #2548 - Hawk is the latest Felvarg Amma has attempted to take under her wing, but as a moody teenager he is not quite receptive to her attempts to help him come into his own. Her most recent tactic is to let him figure things out on his own for a bit, hoping the period will either get him practice in being self sufficient or will at least convince him to hear her out when she tries to give him advice.
